Position Overview:

• Senior Node JS / React developer for designing and delivering Node JS applications in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
• Ideal candidate will have several years experience programming with Nodejs
• Candidate will be responsible for designing large-scale enterprise grade Node applications using proven architecture patterns, design patterns and best practices.
• Experience developing unit tests and functional tests
• Experience developing and deploying on AWS ecosystem is a plus.
• Experience developing using python is a plus.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of application development experience.
• 5+ years of strong expertise in Nodejs application design and development (specially with Express)
• Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and its quirks and workarounds
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages pug
• 5+ years of experience in advanced JavaScript libraries and frameworks, such as React, Nodejs, JQuery, TypeScript.
• 3+ years of experience in UI development using ReactJS, ReactNative, HTML5/CSS3 and Responsive web design.
• Familiarity with latest ECMA-Script specifications.
• Expertise in AWS technologies like CloudFront, SNS, SES, SQS, Cloud Formation.
• Experience in building solutions on top of AWS such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, S3 and others.
• Expertise in working with DevOps and Build pipelines.
• Strong experience of building RESTful web services.
• Strong experience in NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Strong knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.
• Relevant Work Experience: 8 to 11 years.
• Preferred Education: 4 year college degree or equivalent technical study or advanced degree.
